Alexander is a general director for the real estate valuation practice. He has managed numerous domestic and international valuations of commercial and industrial real property in accordance with Russian, US and international valuation standards. These include projects for financing and insurance purposes as well as for financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.

Alexander has valued properties in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Georgia, Lithuania, Tadzhikistan, and other CIS countries; Guinea; South Africa; Mongolia; Montenegro; Poland; Romania; Bulgaria; Turkey; Jamaica and Sweden.

Alexander joined American Appraisal in 1997. Previously, he spent several years working as a land and property valuation expert in the Investment Projects Department of Agroprombank (Moscow).
