Ali is a director specializing in the appraisal of machinery and equipment. He performs valuations of fixed assets for financial reporting purposes (including purchase price allocation, IFRS/ASPE adoption and impairment testing), insurance placement, merger and acquisition, collateral financing, export certification, tax reporting, and liquidation and other divestiture purposes. He also assists clients through development of accurate fixed asset records to satisfy financial reporting, insurance and internal planning requirements. Ali has undertaken appraisal assignments throughout Canada, Australia, Mexico, South Asia and the United States.

Prior to joining American Appraisal in 2005, Ali spent more than 10 years as an industrial appraiser in Pakistan.
