Brian is a director for the industrial valuation practice.  He specializes in the appraisal of machinery and equipment.  He has completed valuations for ad valorem tax, secured lending/collateral financing, financial and tax reporting purposes (including impairment studies, purchase price allocations for mergers and acquisitions, §861 studies, and fresh start accounting for bankruptcy emergence), sale/leaseback transactions, due diligence support, property tax appeals, donations, loan and lease portfolio acquisitions, export certification, and economic life studies.  He has also provided replacement/reproduction costs for insurable values.

Brian performs complex appraisal assignments for domestic and international clients throughout the world and has valued assets in many foreign locations.  He has served corporate clients in the United States, Australia, Brazil, France, Canada, China, Chile, Germany, Italy, Indonesia, Ireland, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Sweden, South Africa, Thailand, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.

Brian joined American Appraisal in 2006. Previously, he was employed at Standard & Poor’s (formerly a division of PwC), Dovebid Valuation Services, and Marshall-Stevens.
