Chris is a director for the industrial valuation practice. He specializes in the appraisal of machinery and equipment. He performs valuations for ad valorem tax, secured lending, financial and tax reporting purposes (including impairment studies, purchase price allocations for mergers and acquisitions, §861 studies, and fresh start accounting for bankruptcy emergence), sale/leaseback transactions, due diligence support, property tax appeals, donations, loan and lease portfolio acquisitions, export certification, and economic life studies.  He has also provided replacement/reproduction costs for insurable values.

Chris has performed complex appraisal assignments for clients throughout the United States and in Canada, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, the United Kingdom, and France.

Chris joined American Appraisal in 2006.  Previously, he was employed at FM Global, Arthur Andersen LLP, and Deloitte and Touche LLP. Most recently, he led the national Capital Asset Valuation practice at Marshall & Stevens, Inc.
