Doug is a managing director of business development for Virginia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida.

Doug addresses clients’ valuation needs in a wide range of service areas, including purchase price allocation, federal tax planning, property insurance, ad valorem tax, fairness and solvency opinions and studies for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Among his clients are Fortune 1000 companies, law and accounting firms, insurance brokers and healthcare providers. He has served clients in various industries including oil and gas, minerals and mining, healthcare, power generation, high technology, hospitality, manufacturing and media.

Doug joined American Appraisal in 1982.  The majority of his time has been spent working in Atlanta and the Southeast; during that time, Doug served as vice president and regional manager of the southeast region. Prior to joining American Appraisal, Doug spent 10 years with United Virginia Bank.
