Floyd Linton

Floyd is a senior managing director of business development in the Northeast. He works with public- and private-sector organizations and companies to resolve a wide range of valuation issues involving financial and tax reporting for mergers and acquisitions and estate planning, as well as valuation issues involving insurance placement, third-party cost reporting and property taxes. 

Among Floyd’s clients are major Fortune 500 companies, state and local governments and authorities, insurance brokers and underwriters, healthcare providers/organizations and higher education and research institutions.

Floyd joined American Appraisal in 1981.  He has worked as a manager for his colleagues in business development as well as in direct client activities.  He has also been active in civic affairs with state and local governments and educational institutions, and has written guest columns in Newsday on business, education, and environmental issues.
