Francisco is a director of the fixed asset management practice. He provides technical and business development expertise for services related to real estate and machinery and equipment, including international risk management services, which address clients’ insurance appraisal needs. He also serves as both a real estate and industrial analyst and is in charge of the quality assurance program of American Appraisal in Germany.
Francisco has extensive experience in the valuation of all types of real estate and personal property, as well as market research, and analysis and application of urban development plans. He has also participated in various business valuation projects. Additionally, he is experienced in developing, managing, and executing mass appraisals of large companies for corporate clients in many countries in eastern, central, and western Europe. During his time with American Appraisal, he has valued property worth a total of several trillion dollars.
The purposes of these valuation services include mergers and acquisitions, purchase price allocations, divestitures, pretransaction valuation analysis, valuation for leasing transactions, various accounting and tax purposes, litigation, and insurance.
Francisco has served corporate clients in a variety of industries throughout Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Francisco joined American Appraisal in 1991 as an industrial and real estate appraiser in the Spanish office. He held various positions in the Spanish, Russian, and Hungarian offices before assisting with the start-up of the German office in 2001. He has been in his current position since 2005.
