Frank Fehribach, MAI, MRICS

Frank is a managing director of the real estate and related assets practice. He has experience in the valuation of investment real estate; user-based, specialized real estate; and real-estate-related enterprises.  Purposes have included purchase or sale, sale/leaseback, fair rental, property tax, charitable donation, financial reporting, tax reporting, insurance and financing.

Frank has substantial experience in healthcare-related property including acute-care hospitals, long-term acute-care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, surgery centers, nursing homes, and other real-estate-related enterprises. Many of Frank’s fair rental valuations have been used for Stark II compliance and lease negotiations.  Frank has also provided consulting services to hospital operators during lease negotiations.

Additional areas of experience include:

  • Hospitality-related property including domestic and international resort hotels such as ski resorts, golf resorts, beach resorts, and mountain resorts; business-affiliated hotels such as full-service hotels, convention hotels, and limited-service hotels
  • High-tech industrial facilities such as semiconductor fabricating, data centers, pharmaceutical manufacturing, Web-hosting facilities and research and development facilities
  • Institutional-grade property such as Class A office buildings, multifamily residential complexes, regional malls and distribution warehousing
  • Infrastructure-related property such as highway and tollway development, telecommunication, and reservoir development

Frank also has experience in special-purpose properties including athletic clubs, golf courses, service stations and specialized manufacturing facilities.

Frank has performed advisory services including development and feasibility studies, economic model creation, offer/option analysis, and market studies. He is a certified general appraiser in many US states and has also served on foreign assignments, including activities in Mexico, Canada, Europe, Asia, and South America.

Frank joined American Appraisal in 1998 and was promoted to his current position in 1999.  Previously, he was a manager at Arthur Andersen LLP.
