Jamie is a senior managing director specializing in providing integrated valuations of tangible and intangible assets.

Jamie’s experience includes performing valuation analysis for merger and acquisition, financial reporting (including purchase price allocation, IFRS/ASPE adoption, and impairment testing), tax planning and litigation support purposes.  Additionally, Jamie leads our IFRS consulting practice and has assisted some of Canada’s largest firms with their adoption of IFRS and ASPE. 

Jamie has provided services to clients reporting in multiple GAAP and income tax regimes and whose securities are regulated by Canadian provincial securities commissions and the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Prior to joining American Appraisal in 2008, Jamie was employed by a publicly traded corporation working on mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he was in public practice with an international firm of Chartered Accountants.
