Jeff is a director for the fixed asset management and insurance practice. He directs the performance and management of healthcare engagements as well as insurance and fair market value and fair rental value appraisals of physician practices, hospitals, and other healthcare entities. Assets valued for healthcare entities include furniture and equipment, medical records and computer software.

Previously, Jeff worked with both the industrial and financial valuation practices. In the industrial valuation practice, he gained valuation experience in allocation of purchase price, collateral financing, estate and gift taxes, export certificates, insurance, possible sale, and property records.

With the financial valuation practice, Jeff was responsible for allocation of purchase price analysis; financial analysis; and valuations of business enterprises, capital stock, employee stock ownership plans and intangible assets.  He focused primarily in the active healthcare merger and acquisition arena where he performed numerous physician practice valuations as well as valuations for physical therapy centers and hospitals.

Jeff’s international work includes engagements performed in Brazil, Canada, Germany and Russia. 

Jeff joined American Appraisal in 1988 and has held various positions in the industrial, financial and fixed asset management practices. He has been in his current position since 2000.
