Juan is a managing director of business development, with more than 15 years of experience in the valuation industry. His responsibilities include consulting, business development, contract management, and engagement planning.  He has consulted on a variety of properties for the purposes of audit compliance, fixed asset management, insurance, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance related to public entities, risk pools, private-sector companies and healthcare organizations.

Previously, as a managing principal of American Appraisal, Juan supervised valuation engagements assigned to the western region.

Juan joined American Appraisal in 1995 as an associate appraiser and was promoted to managing principal in 2002.  He has been in his current position since 2006.
