Robert Wells, ASA

Rob is a director for the real estate and related assets practice. His experience includes valuation of investment real estate; user-based, specialized real estate; and real estate-related enterprises. He has appraised property in many US states and has served on international assignments as well.

Rob has substantial experience with valuations for international as well as US financial accounting purposes including those in accordance with FASB ASC Topics 350, 360, 805, and 820. Properties he has appraised include gaming facilities, lodging, ports, recreational, institutional, oil and gas, chemical, steel, and general manufacturing.  Appraisal purposes have included property tax, financial reporting, financing, purchase or sale, insurance, fair rental, tax reporting, condemnation, and donation.

Rob also performs advisory services including buy/sell advisory, appraisal review, market research, appraisal management, and offer/option analysis.

Rob joined American Appraisal in 1991 and has held various positions, including three years as the manager of real estate valuation and consulting activities in central Europe.
