IFRS Adoption - India

India will be an early adopter of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). On January 12, 2010, it was announced by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs that India is committed to carrying out the convergence of Indian Accounting Standards with IFRS by April, 2011.
